In this affluent community, it is important to look after both your spiritual well-being as well as your physical well-being.

Health is wealth is a common phrase. Unfortunately, many people do not pay much attention to their health until a time when they feel their physical body giving symptoms of pain or disease.

Zhineng Qigong is a simple training that relaxes both the body and mind. When the physical body and the mind is in a state of relaxation, the body is able to carry out its various activities in a natural manner and healing takes place naturally. Various energy points are stimulated and enhanced which promotes healthier well-being, enhanced immune system and a more focused mindset. Zhineng Qigong practices have been known for giving almost an instant relief to most ailments.

This is a quote from Prof Pang Ming, the founder of Zhineng Qigong; ‘Cultivating Qi is not the most fundamental, cultivating one’s consciousness is. Mastery of Qi is really mastery of consciousness. We use consciousness in a careful craftsman-like way to shape our life, to attain our goals. If we use modern terminology to name this process, we call it Qigong. Qigong is just the refinement of consciousness to enhance the state of energy in your body.’

2018 will be the third year that the Zhineng Qigong classes are conducted for BISDS teachers and adult students. The classes are in the morning from 8 am to 9 am. The air is fresh early in the morning before the morning sun rises. It is my hope that more students will enroll for the classes this year.
