LITTLE DHAMMA & CULTIVATING SPIRITUAL FRIENDSHIP UNDER THE BODHI TREE 

Last Sunday, 14th May 2023, BISDS Sunday School Dhamma Classes, students and teachers of Yasa 1, 2, and Cunda were gathered under the Bodhi tree for “A Little Dhamma Sharing and Spiritual Friendship (Kalyanamitta) session” with Bhante Kirinde Chandaratana.

Bhante delivered a Dhamma sermon on the colours of the Buddhist Flag, and the meaning of its colours. He also stressed that with a proper understanding of all these colours, we can apply these virtues in our daily lives.

He further explained on kindness and compassion to all students. How to be a compassionate person? Not only to our friends, but also to spread compassion to family members, animals, non-living beings, and ultimately to all living beings.

Hence, we’re all really blessed to have Bhante to deliver a beautiful and meaningful Dhamma talk. We’re looking forward to hearing from Bhante again on this coming Sunday’s Dhamma Sharing session.
